WWE Smackdown Live Results (9/2) – Clash at the Castle Go Home Episode

Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!

Tonight should be a fun one with a few good looking matches as we make the last stop before Clash at the Castle. We also get to celebrate Roman Reigns’ two year run as champion.

We’re be back and ready to get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling at the 8 pm EST.

Segment 1

Viking Rules Match – The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods)

The ring was dressed up like a Viking ship with shields lining the ropes and a boat figurehead for this no disqualification match.

The New Day ducked the initial shield swings and took it to the Viking Raiders and stomped them out of the ring and hit somersaults over the top rope on Ivar and Erik.

Kofi hit a splash on Ivar on the floor for a pin attempt as we headed to commercial.

Segment 2

he Viking Raiders took the New Day’s best shots with kendo sticks and unicorn horn sledgehammer and kept fighting back as Ivar hit a front slam on Woods off the middle rope and Kofi broke up the pin as we headed to commercial..

Segment 3

After pinning opportunities going back and forth, the Viking Raiders hit a Ragnorak through two tables on Woods for the win. This was an awesome match. We’re so glad the Viking Raiders are a dominant team again.

Segment 4

As we await the arrival of Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn tried to make some inroads with Jey Uso to no avail and asked Jimmy for some help.

Elsewhere, Live Morgan interrupted Shayna Baszler’s promo and promised to rip her arm off.

Segment 5

Karrion Kross w/Scarlett vs. Drew Gulak

Gulak came out swinging and blistered Kross’ chest with chops before Kross locking in a Kross Jacket for the submission win.

Segment 6

Adam Pearce told Ronda Rousey it wasn’t personal, no matter what the final decision was and Ronda acted like a spoiled child after she got into trouble.

She wanted him to read that her suspension, while unprofessional, it was never criminal. She will remain on probation and her suspension is over and resume in ring competition immediately.

Adam disagreed with the findings and would’ve fired her.

After insulting him he ripped into her for thinking his job’s a joke and how it’s thankless babysitting people like her and he even told the crowd to shut up. He has a problem with Ronda and not the board of directors.

He called her “the single biggest b-tch I’ve ever met) and when she came at him he tried to apologize to her but she took him down and locked in an armbar.

Backstage, Zayn took a delivery of black flowers that stank and were from Kross for Reigns.

Segment 7

Hit Row (Ashante the Adonis, Top Dolla) with/B-Fab vs. Maximum Male Models (Mansoor, Mace) w/Max and Maxine DuPri

After the match started and MMM was sent to the floor, Los Lotharios came out and Hit Row invited them into the ring and B-Fab hit both with a swinging kick and MMM attacked Ashante from behind.

Top Dolla took over, and after hitting their finisher Ashante scored the pinfall win over Mansoor.

After the match, it was a 4 on 2 beatdown as Los Lotharios attacked them, and the Street Profits came out and quickly cleared the ring.

Segment 8

Happy Corbin vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Corbin held and open challenge and Nakamura accepted and came out. This should be a good one.

After a quick back and forth, Corbin caught Nakamura’s kinsasha attempt and hit a Deep Six for a near pinfall, and he then ran into a kinsasha as he ran back into the ring and Nakamura got the win.

Corbin’s losing streak continues on.

Segment 9

Backstage, FBL’s limo pulled up next to a dejected Corbin and told him to get in an they drove off.

Butch w/Sheamus, Ridge Holland vs. Ludwig Kaiser w/GUNTHER

After a back and forth, Kaiser caught Butch’s dive off the apron with a European uppercut and Sheamus and GUNTHER got into a heated debate as we headed to commercial.

Segment 10

Kaiser got his second wind and caught Butch in a gut wrench slam for a couple of pin attempts, but Butch hit a Bitter End for the win after snapping a couple of Kaiser’s fingers.

GUNTHER took off his robe and challenged Sheamus, who obliged and took his coat and hat off. Kaiser calmed GUNTHER enough for GUNTHER to back off and leave the ring.

Segment 11

The Usos and Sami Zayn headed to the ring to celebrate Roman Reigns’ two year championship reign, and Zayn got things rolling and Jimmy gave his blessing as emcee and Zayn took a shot at Jey telling him he’s gotten too comfortable.

Jey took over the emcee job and Zayn showed his support. After Jey told everyone to stand up, Reigns got out of his limo backstage and was Claymored from the side by Drew McIntyre and Drew then headed to the ring.

Zayn went to meet him and was met with a Glasgow Kiss, and then Drew leveled both Usos and sent them to the floor before destroying the set up in the ring.

Drew hit a somersault over the top rope and took them all out, then threw Zayn into the ring and grabbed some steel chairs and tossed them into the ring.

He Claymored a chair into Zayn’s face, the slammed Jimmy Uso through the announce table, and finished up up with by using Reigns’ war cry and speared Jey through the barricade.

Drew grabbed a mic and told Reigns he will never stop and Reigns’ god mode is deactivated. In Cardiff, he’s going to Claymore Reigns’ head off his head to win the championship.
