[Photos] Early Look At For WWE Clash At The Castle Set

Construction has commenced for the set of WWE Clash at the Castle, which is now less than two days away.

Clash at the Castle will be the first WWE pay-per-view to run in the United Kingdom since Insurrextion 2003. It will also mark the first stadium pay-per-view in the UK since the legendary SummerSlam 2022 pay-per-view. Clash at the Castle will run inside Principality Stadium on Saturday in Cardiff, Wales.

Several fans took to Twitter and shared some photos of the Clash at the Castle set, which you can view below:

There are six matches on the card for WWE Clash at the Castle. The headliner is Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The Tribal Chief reached the milestone two-year mark as the Universal Champion, but we’ll see if McIntyre can put an end to that streak.

Liv Morgan will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler, who’s aiming for her first world championship on the main roster. The other confirmed title match is Gunther (the title holder) against Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship.

Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss will team up against the trio of Bayley, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai. Sky and Kai are coming off a loss in the tournament finals to Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez, who became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Rey Mysterio and Hall of Famer Edge will face off against Finn Balor and The Rated R-Superstar’s former Judgment Day ally in Damian Priest. We will also see Matt Riddle and Seth “Freakin” Rollins square off in a singles bout.

Clash At The Castle Should Be A Thrilling Show

WWE certainly did a good job here in stacking up on star power and enticing matches for Clash at the Castle. McIntyre and Reigns put on a match of the year clinic when they faced off at Survivor Series 2020, but they finally meet again with championship gold on the line. Clash at the Castle could easily feature several prime match of the year candidates. And the crowd at Principality Stadium will certainly make this show all the more exciting.
