Big Match Revealed for WWE Royal Rumble, Updated Card

The Undisputed WWE Common Title can be defended on the Royal Rumble.

Tonight’s first SmackDown of 2023 opened up with a promo by The Bloodline, led by Undisputed WWE Common Champion Roman Reigns, who lashed out at Sami Zayn and blamed him for final week’s loss to Kevin Owens and John Cena. Owens then interrupted and had a again & forth on the mic with Reigns. Owens challenged Reigns to a match on the Royal Rumble after which mentioned he’ll see Sami at any time when Sami manages to “dig his balls out of Reigns’ pocket.” Owens then left to finish the section.

WWE has since introduced Owens vs. Reigns for the Royal Rumble, with the Undisputed WWE Common Title on the road.

Reigns final retained over Owens in a Final Man Standing match on the 2021 Royal Rumble, which got here after Reigns retained over Owens in a Metal Cage match on the ultimate SmackDown of 2020, and a TLC Match on the 2020 TLC occasion.

The 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Dwell Occasion will air reside on Saturday, January 28 from The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Beneath is the up to date card, together with footage from tonight’s opening section:
